Friends forever

You made my life bright.
With you it seemed that everything would go right.
You made my sorrows to disappear
And helped me overcome my fear.  

You gave me courage and made me strong
And told where I was going wrong.
With you,I enjoyed every moment I spent.
Because of you,my loneliness came to an end.

You backed me up when I was weak.
You gave me support when I trembled to speak.
Your warm palms comforted my cold hands.
To express our friendship,we required no friendship bands.

  With you I can be like myself.
You rendered me every possible help.
In you,I saw a reflection of mine.
Your words and thoughts were similar to mine.  

The greatest moment I've ever seen,
Is the time when with you I'd been.
  But....
Now when you are gone,
My fears and extreme loneliness are once again born.

  Now I shall console myself
Saying a day would come when we'll meet again.
And that the distance cannot make our friendship go in vain.
