Cameron Mortice is a normal girl. A normal, very sarcastic girl. She lives in Shile, the main city of the country Udrana, the main country of the continent Jazeth, which is one of the only charted stretches of land.

In the country of Udrana, prophecies are normal, each time the government slips into chaos. This time they decided not to go through the process of choosing someone to go on the quest, but had a raffle. On a dare, Cameron enters the raffle and, lucky her! She wins. Cameron goes on a quest to save the world.
