A powerful mind

A powerful mind is free of worldly desires,
Trivial but colourful candle fires;
That flicker burn flicker until they sire us.
A powerful mind is free of worldly desires,
Doting love and wanton pleasures,
Mischevious deeds brewing in a heart but Cassius.
None have power of an hour,
Until upon our very lusty tongues turn sour.
False laughter and bendy rafters,
All reach and grab but so poor and near;
The furthest and featherest point of true happiness.
Youthful joys are all foolish joys.
Soon to be broken toys
That make a lot of noise but no sound.
