I look at you and see fire
Deep inside your eyes
Burning and raging inside
Higher and higher
Into blissful oblivion
Setting me apart from the million
I look at you and see light
Far brighter than flood lights
Enough to spark light inside me
Like a welcome virus
That needs no cure
The feeling in us
Known by many but experienced by fewer
I look at you and see forever
Like a dark abyss beckons me
My hands on your cheeks tender

Under the shade
