Kimberley walked into the bar where she knew her friends were. She looked around for them and finally located the girls sitting at a table in the corner and she noticed that with them was sitting a new girl. She went over and made her presence known and was greeted with a hug by Nadine, Nicola, and then Sarah who was obviously pretty drunk already. She sat next to Sarah and on the other side of Sarah was Nadine, who was talking with Nicola in front of her, and to Nadine's right was that woman she had never seen before. The other girls were too busy talking together, they totally forgot to introduce the new girl to Kimberley. Kimberley gave her a brief smile, and then the woman looked at her, stood up and offered her a hand to shake.
"Hi, I'm Cheryl," she said, smiling.
"Pleased to meet you," Kim replied, raising her voice to be heard over the music, "I'm Kimberley."
