#1. Fall Surprises.

"Let me stop you there. I will not participate in any of these shenanigans" Cyborg teases, mimicking Raven in a low monotone voice. Everyone knew Raven wouldn't hang with them. Raven raises an eyebrow and looks over at Star with a smirk. Beast boy jumps over on the black sofa next to Cyborg and powers on the TV.

Raven peers up from the dark green mug. She stops stirring her herbal tea and watch as Robin makes an appearance. "Hardy Har Har." Robin says smirking and walking behind her to get to the fridge.

Starfire kept her hopes high and smiles again anyway. Honestly ,Star just wants to hang out with her only female friend. She's in desperate of a 'Girls Night',but that's something that'll have to wait. Or would it?

"Uh Raven, would you like to join me and friend Robin on a super spooky riding of the hay?"Starfire's smile intensifies and Robin slightly raises in eyebrow. He seemed interested in her answer but showed little emotion.
Her eyes squeezes shut and the smile on her face becomes tighter. Her hands intertwined and she stood anxiously.

Next,Raven began stirring her herbal tea again,still quiet. From the kitchen you could hear Beast boy and Cyborg going at it again. After a few desperate attempts of searching for a meal, Robin closes the fridge and stands by Raven.

He was nearly a few inches away,but Raven could still few the heat from his body. She peers over at him then back at her tea again. All the space in the world but he chose to invade mine?

"Yeah Rae, it'll be fun." Robin's voice was smooth and calm . Like always. Star nods in agreement,hoping Raven would cave and join them on the hayride.

Cyborg chuckles and waves them both off. "Puhh-lease Raven wouldn't dare." Beast boy nods in agreement as they both begin to engage in senseless video games.

Raven didn't physically show any offense to his comment, instead she just shrugs with her tea in hands and began her walk down the hall. Robin and Star exchange defeated expressions. They knew the answer to the question already but it was worth a try. Robin sighs and rest his hand on Star's shoulder, "Maybe next time Star. Let's go."

"Beast boy and I would go but I'm kicking his butt in this video game
!"Cyborg chuckles glancing at them both.

Beast boy explodes, "You're cheating! "

Raven pauses, still facing the opposite way with her back to them. Oh what the hell? She manages a smirk, "Give me about five minutes, Star."

A silence pours over the room. Robin couldn't believe his ears and neither could anyone else. "Yaaay! Raven will be joining on the riding of the hay!"she exclaims and while jumping up in down in excitement.

" Oh Joy, Oh Joy!" Robin hides his shocked expression by slyly smirking and folding his arms. Raven ,you sure are a box of surprises. "Alright then."

"I'll wait in the car!"she giggles, snatching the keys from Robin without a care and rushing to the door. Robin leans against the counter, wondering what made Raven change her mind. Was it because of our unfinished business or simply because she hates to cause Star such sadness?

"Yo Robin, what are you waiting for?"

He looks over at Raven,who just entered the room and smirks again. "Ready?"

She looks at him slowly smiling as she pushes her violet hair in a ponytail. He stares for a moment and reverts his attention to the door. You really suck Rae, why do you treat me like this? "Let's go."

He extends out his hand for her to hold without making unnecessary eye contact. She hesitates at first but gradually leans in and graspes it. I sailed the seas of you and me. Oceans of blue, oceans Of me and you. Our unfinished business will have to wait. She looks at him and smiles despite the hurt in her heart.
