It was a tranquil night. Not a single blade of grass rustled, nor did a single bird chirp. The misty forest was silent and calm.

Suddenly, a lion burst through the tree, his eyes blazing with fury. and he ran to the jagged cliffs.

"You lied to us!" He hissed to the stars, his voice echoing.

The moon glistened in response, and a starry-pelted cat descended from the sky.

"We did not know. The path is obscure even for us." She sighed. "We aren't all-knowing."

The lion hissed. "Nonesense! You're just trying to hide the truth!" He spat.

The star-cat flinched. "We are scattered, confused, and paranoid because of the Shadows. Forgive our false prophecies." She whispered, frightened by his rage.

"Forgive you?! You've taken away all trust put in me!" He screamed. "If that's the way it's going to be, then it's your turn to have your due." He hissed.

Suddenly, flames began to burn her away. "No! Wait!" She screeched, but it was too late. She had disintegrated into nothing.

"If you are all going to be dishonest, lying rats, then you will all burn." He whispered, spinning around and running into the woods.
