The sun rises on the quiet ashes of a suburban home. The officials have taped off the scene and left it with all the evidence taken from its crumbling frame. But in this little waste land life begins to stir. The ashes that were once the living room began to shift and move, forming neat little piles before taking on a more definite shape. The piles began to form a humanoid shape, it was primitive at first, much like the drawings of a child, but then slowly became more and more detailed. The figure's hands began to form fingers and it's feet formed toes soon after.
Within minutes the figure became much more defined, it had ears and a nose and what looked like the beginning of eye sockets. It was at this point the skin began to form, starting from the extremities and creeping towards the chest and face. It soon became clear that this creature was a man. The man's face was the last thing to fully form and it had strong features. A strong chin and chiseled jawline. His hair had formed just before the face, a thick forest of jet black hair set atop his head.
The man was naked at first, but the ashes began to form clothing after the body had fully developed. The man was soon clothed in jeans and a red plaid shirt. The ashes then became at ease and silence filled the air once again.
The man's body sat there without breathing. His hands were on his chest like he was in a casket. Then suddenly, the man gasped loudly and opened his eyes, he coughed and sputtered as he flipped himself over on his hands and knees. He pushed himself up and sat on his heels. He looked around in a dazed state of mind and saw a little metal music box amongst the ash and rubble. He picked it up and looked at the at it with tears in his eyes. The music box was small enough to fit in your hand and had a Christmas tree etched on the lid. He wasn't quite sure if it still worked because a large portion of it was covered in scorch marks. So he turned the little wind-up key on the side, and the box began to play "Coventry Carol." The moment the man heard the song he burst into tears and threw himself onto the ground.
His sorrow slowly turned to anger, however, as he picked himself off the ground and got to his feet. The man's eyes began to glow bright red. He breathed heavily with anger and whispered under his breath "They will pay for this," he then threw his head and arms up to the sky and yelled with such ferocity it shook the ground. And as he screamed at the sky, flames slowly began to form around his body. The flames that cloaked his body soon became an inferno that completely covered the area around him. This man's name was Allen Park.
