You think you're not depending on anyone.

You think you're the master of your emotions.

You think you have them under control.

You think you're happy most of the time.

You think you have your life under control.

But you know that's not true.


You are depending on someone.

You are not the master of your emotions.

You don't have them under control.

You're not happy most of the time.

You are letting yourself depending on someone.

You are letting the grip on your emotions slip away.

You are letting your emotions control you.

You are letting yourself be something other than happy most of the time.

You are letting your life control you.

You are repressing it.


And then something happens.


The person you depend on does something.

Something that just fucks you up,

something you can't let yourself condone.

You want to let yourself condone this.

But you just can't. You just won't.

It just doesn't fit in your morals.


And you realise.

You realise:

You are letting your life control you;

You are letting yourself be something other happy most of the time;

You are letting your emotions control you;

You are letting the grip on your emotions slip away;

You are letting yourself depending on someone.

You realise you repressed it.


You now think:

Your life is controlling you right now.

You are not happy.

Your emotions are controlling you right now.

You're not the master of your emotions.

You're depending on someone.



You now feel fucked up.

You don't know what to feel anymore.

You don't know what or who to believe anymore.

You don't know if you still believe the person you depended on.

You don't even know if you still like them.

You don't even know anything anymore.


And then you're working.

Your working to:

not depend on anyone anymore.

become the master of your emotions.

get them under control.

be happy most of the time.

get your life under control.


But you still feel fucked up.

You still don't know what to feel.

You still don't know what or who to believe.

You still don't know if you believe the person you depended on.

You still don't even know if you like them.

You still don't even know anything.


And you continue to work.

And then you know.

You know what you want to feel.

You know what or who you want to believe.

You know if you believe the person you depended on.

You now know if you like them.

You now know something.


And you still continue to work.

And then, some time, you realise:

You're not depending on anyone.

You're the master of your emotions.

You have them under control.

You're happy most of the time.

You have your life under control.

And you know it's true.
