Poem: Dawn

The dark of the night

Transforming in daylight

Here in my bawn in this dawn

The cold of this height

Squashing away by sunlight

It is the warmth of this dawn

A sea of colours deepening in my eyes

Away from the world full of lies

I'm in the arms of this dawn

The mesmerizing smell

Of bluebells

It is the charm of this dawn

The chirping birds

And cattle herds

There is no harm in this dawn

This nature is casting a spell

I fear is it heaven or just hell?

I'm the stranger in this dawn

Saving this memory in my head

Untill the day of my death

Here in my bawn in this dawn
