THE FACE
What do you see on a face?
What would you rather place on a face?
Would you run a race for your race?
I mean the HUMAN RACE!
At what pace would you race?
Would you erase the face you hate?
Or deface the state of the face?
My people are placed in a maze.
I am amazed at your taste!
What gives you the right to rate my fate?
You only savour the false taste of my race!
Reinstate the dates!
Re-educate your mates -
And we may all converge at the same place,
Where we might narrate our tales,
And amend our inhumane ways.
Would you cry for a child - lost in your foolish maze?
Would you call all the undocumented - endangered?
Or alienate the race you love to hate?
When will you ditch your ways?
Are you hoping to graze this face
Before you take a break?
Every face deserves a mirror!
Every mirror is made for a face!
I'd prefer you break my mirror
But give my face a break!
I'm sure you know what's at stake.
Why not rescue the endangered faces?
Or create other ways?
Don't grate all those faces with hate!
They might just form a collective face.
I'm not sure how you face HUMANITY -
But I urge you to hate no face........
