It's a rainy day in a small Apartment in chicago,illinois. Lennon pastis is 24 years old and moving to her own first house.
My mothers arms tightly grasped around me " I'm gonna miss you so much!" She wails. "I'll be fine mom" I reply, I grab my backpack and walk down the hallway. "Bye Mikey" I say to my brother playing video games...his eyes remain glued to the screen. I walk down stairs and pet boots "bye buddy" I say, I walk out the door to the bus stop. After I get a flight at the airport successfully I began my journey to Oregon.
