In the future, society is colourless. The world is monochrome and the citizens who inhabit Earth know nothing less. Books are filtered through the system, removing any trace of colour from stories and fiction. Nobody can remember colour, although many individuals were alive when it was taken. Why? It wasn't beneficial. So why can't anybody remember?

Lavender lives her life normally. Nothing is ever out of routine, until a run in with the town's bad boy has her waking up the next day to an apple shining bright with a colour she can't recognise. The colours slowly begin to introduce themselves to her, but nobody is able to see the world like she does. Luckily, the bad boy is beginning to see the colours just like she is.

"It's red. It's love. It's blood. It's the colour of her soft lips. A fiery red you never want to lose sight of."
