It's been 4 years...

???: Dante! Where are you going?

Dante: I'm going to outskirts of Phoenix Drop

???: Why?

Dante: To wait

???: Wait for what?

Dante: Not what, who

???: Dante.... There's nobody else here... everyone is gone... there's nobody to wait for

Dante: There is one person

???: Dante... You still wait everyday? I haven't been gone for long..

Dante: I'm still going

???: There's no point

Dante: She's coming back!

???: Dante.... Aphmau is gone

Dante: GONE WHERE NICOLE?

Nicole: Dante.....

Dante: NICOLE SHE'S COMING BACK!!!

Nicole:  It's been four years...

Dante: SHE'S COMING BACK! THEY ALL ARE! GARROTH, APHMAU! ALL OF THEM!

Nicole: You don't need to wait....

Dante: I DO NICOLE! WHEN SHE DOES COME BACK! THIS VILLAGE WILL BE THE SAME AS IT IS NOW! EMPTY! NO LORD! HARDLY ANY PEOPLE! NOTHING! SHE MUST BE WORRIED SICK ABOUT HER KIDS TOO!

Nicole: Why would she just leave

Dante: SHE WOULDN'T THATS WHY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR HER!

Nicole: Why don't you go visit Zoey, Levin and Malachi

Dante: Nicole I can't! I don't know where they are..

Nicole: They're in the Yggdrasil Forest

Dante: HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET THERE!

Nicole: I'm sorry..

Dante: FOR ALL WE KNOW APHMAU COULD BE DEAD!

Nicole: What will you do... If she comes back?

Dante: I will be her guard! I will protect her! I will make sure she doesn't disappear again!

Nicole: Dante... I know this isn't the right time... but...

Dante: What this time Nicole?

Nicole: I'm leaving tonight

Dante: .....

Nicole: I have to become the new lord of Scaleswind.

Dante: That's great Nicole!

Nicole: I was wondering if you wanted to come with me.... We could start a life toge--

Dante: Nicole... I can't

Nicole: Why not?

Dante: I'm still her guard

Nicole: She might never come back

Dante: Well then I will die knowing I was true and loyal to my lord

Nicole: You're allowed a life too...

Dante: THIS IS MY LIFE!

Nicole: Dante.... I have to go....

Dante: Okay.... Goodbye Nicole... If you ever want to talk... I'll always be here..... When you arrive in Scaleswind.... Send me a letter..... It's not like I will be leaving anytime soon

Nicole: I'm going to miss you dante!

Watching Nicole leave brought a tear to my eye. I'm not sure who is left in Phoenix Drop now.... Or what is left of it...

As I walk through the village.... Everything comes back to me.... we're back to the good old days.. Aphmau is here! with Brendan and Kiki in the plaza. Donna and Logan too! They are back!

"APHMAU! EVERYONE! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN" I shouted

I proved Nicole wrong. They are here! I run towards them, it is all in my head... Aphmau isn't here... Kiki and Brendan... Logan and Donna.... I walk towards the little stalls.... Ivy covers them like a green blanket... The fairy lights hanging from stall to stall may be covered in dirt and dust but they somehow shine like they used to.

I walk to the port... empty as usual... Phoenix Drop doesn't get many visitors anymore...

Some people call it the ghost town... the dock is falling apart... the water seems clearer then usual... Not many animals come near our waters anymore..... I wonder why...

I make out a crafting bench... In the distance... Was this used by Lord Aphmau herself?

Aphmau's house is the only thing that looks the same as it did four years ago

I've made sure of that....

As I pull up a few unwanted plants.... a great sadness comes over me

I start crying.... I can't help it... Everyone is gone.. That's not what Aphmau would have wanted...

I head back to camp.. but I can't help but feel guilty that i didn't go with her...
