  Aelin sat next to his grave staring at the stars. She silently cried and I kept at a respectable distance watching her. She seemed to forget I was here, that she asked me to come with her. I did not think that she was the type of girl to sing, but I was wrong. As she starting singing I could hear the melody in the wind.......

"Just close your eyes"

"The sun is going down"

"You'll be alright..."

"No one can hurt you now"

"Come, morning light..."

"You and I'll be safe and sound"

After a moment of just the melody in the wind I heard a whisper of a voice, singing.

"Don't you dare look out your window"

"Darling everything's on fire"

"The war outside our door"

"Keeps raging on"

"Hold on to this lullaby"

"Even when the music's gone"

"gone......"

Aelin sung once again.

"Just close your eyes"

"The sun is going down"

"You'll be alright..."

"No one can hurt you now"

"Come, morning light..."

"You and I'll be safe and sound"

"Oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh...."

"la la" The voice copied her. "la la"

"la la" The voice copied her. "la la"

"Oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh...."

"la la" The voice copied her. "la la"

"Just close your eyes......"

She stopped singing and I heard one finally line before she closed her eyes.

"Even when the music's gone....."

The voice finished as did the melody in the wind. Maybe it was just my imagination or Mala gave a gift to Aelin to help her on this difficult journey. Whatever happened I hope it helped her, I picked her up and carried her home.
