Summer begins

chapter 1

After being released on the last day of school they get onto their bus and they begin to plan what they're going to do during the summer. Rebecca is already planning on going to the nail shop all summer, but her mom cancels all of it and applies for Rebecca an at home tutor. While her mom is applying for the tutor, she gets an call from her sister that lives in Virginia, so she answered the phone and says "hello", as her sister greets her and tells her "hey sister!!, how you been?, I missed ya down here".So she speaks back and tells her sister that she has been okay and that she has been wanting to visit her, but she couldn't find her passport. So the children at still on the bus waiting patiently for their stop to come, Marie is on the phone with one of her cousins to see if her aunt could take her with them on the cruise trip. But her aunt notices that Marie has 1 failing grade in her gradebook, so she can't come. So to make the conversation  short on the phone Marie says "oops I tried to pick that grade up, but that class is extremely difficult". So after Marie quickly texted  her mom, and too her that she will be home soon and what are the plans for thjs summer. Marie's   ft mom tells her that there aren't any plans. So Marie has an confused look on her face,  and quickly  tells her mom " Nooo fair". And hangs up the phone very angrily, Sitting quietly jason begins to see his house about to come up. And he say "see yall later" to all his friend on the bus, as he walks off. When Jason walks into his house be notices that his mom is laying in the couch with an dangerous illnesse that need to go get checked out. Jason's older brother lives two houses down from theirs, so jason got his bike and quickly rode down to his brother's house to ask if he could take their mom to the hospital, because of the illness she caught. As they immediately drove to the hospital their mom kept thanking them for the transportation, because her  husband left out to go fix someone's house, and she wasn't sick until something  happened during he was gone. So as they arrived to the hospital jason immediately ran inside and asked for a room, so the front desk gave him room 216, and so they walked up to the elevator to go to their room, when they arrived to their room they layed their mom on the bed and then they waited for an nurse to come, when the nurse came in she checked the mom's temperature and it was very high, so after checking  her temperature she did more nurse things, so she could tell the doctor information  about her illness, walk in off the bus now was Jacob, and Jacob had a funeral he one he had to attend on Saturday, he then thought he was going to be able to go to the basketball court and hoop, But his mom told him "no!" Because they had to go to a night dinner at the fancy restaurant downtown. So he had plans already,
What a bummer.
