It was 7 pm in the evening lahat ng showtime hosts ay nagkakasiyahan sa condominium ni Anne, After she announced publicly na engaged na sila ni Erwann kanina sa Showtime ay pinagpilitan ni Vice na magcelebrate silang lahat sa condo ni'to.
Anne agreed at eto nga sila nagsisisyahan at nagbibiruan. Erwan decided to cook for them bago ito umalis dahil may kailangan itong asikasuhin sa restaurant nito, Sinabi niya din that it's time for Anne to spend some quality time with the hosts. She felt really happy dahil lahat sila ay masaya para sa nakatakdang kasal niya.
But somehow she also felt na may kulang, it was like some specific person was missing and she couldn't help but to think about him. "Vice." She called her bestfriend na masayang nakikipagbiruan sa ibang hosts. "Oh Anning? Anong mukha yan?" Vice asked.
Anne was leaning to the counter habang nakatingin sa baba, Nagdadalawang isip if tatanungin ba niya si Vice. "Si.. Si B-billy?" Anne asked looking directly at Vice's eyes, he saw a small grin broke from the latter's face pero agad din iyong nawala. "Ikakasal ka na nga.. Hoping ka pa din." Vice said with a smirk, Anne rolled her eyes bago hinampas ang braso nito. "Iba naman yung iniisip mo."
"Pero namimiss mo?"
Anne stayed quiet for a while, Iniwas niya ang tingin sa kaibigan at inayos ang pagkakatayo. "Nagtataka lang ako.. kung bakit w-wala siya kanina." She reasoned out, tinutukoy niya din yung kanina nung nagtribute ang mga showtime hosts para sa kasal niya.
Vice shaked his head at tinabihan ang kaibigan, He knows her too well, alam naman niyang merong 'special' sa pagkakaibigan ng dalawang bestfriends niya. "He's in tagaytay this week at hindi daw muna siya babalik for a year." Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ni Anne dahil sa narinig. "For a year?!" She asked.
"Yep, nagpaalam na din naman siya kay Direk nung last taping natin." Vice explained.
"So hindi siya makakapunta sa Kasal ko?"
"Ganun na nga, but don't you worry, Alam naming masaya din siya para sa'yo."
'Sana nga.' Anne thought.
Matapos ng usaping iyon ay bumalik na sa kasiyahan ang mga magkakaibigan, Nagpaalam na muna saglit si Anne na lumabas para kumuha ng preskong hangin, She drove her way to tagaytay dahil hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa din siya pinpatahimik ni Billy.
Alam niyang magtataka ang lahat kung bakit matagal siyang babalik but it doesn't matter anymore, All she wants now is talk to him to clear things out, dahil mismo siya sobra ng naguguluhan. It was a 4 hour drive at pagcheck niya sa time it was already 12 in the morning, her phone was flooded with missed calls and text messages from Erwan and her friends.
Finally ay nakadating na din siya sa rest house na pinagmamay-ari ni Billy. The house was awfully quiet but one of the rooms caught her eye, Ito lang kasi ang may ilaw. She stepped out of her car and the cold breeze quickly covered her body.
'Damn, I should've brought my Coat.'
She thought, Unti unti na siyang naglakad patungo sa rest house ni Billy at hindi niya alam kung bakit pero kinakabahan talaga siya pagdating sa binata. She knows that Billy was having his healing time, It was already 3 months when he and Coleen broke up. Billy was devastated and she was being a good friend that's why she comforted him like what the others would do.
Until one day, she find herself liking the man, everytime that she's near him parang tumatalbog yung puso niya dahil sa kaba excitement at saya. She and Billy had a mutual feeling over the 2nd month of his healing time but that was quickly stopped when Billy confessed that he still loves Coleen and that was when Reality slapped Anne's face. She almost forgot about Erwan. She almost forgot her boyfriend.
