Mayas Point:
"Maya get up", I groan at what my roommate Becca says. "5 more minutes", "No, we have 10 minutes till the others get up and you know the line that forms to the bathroom." I groan again and sit up rubbing my eyes as Becca gets her stuff. "Pull me up I'm to lazy" "No Maya get up yourself. You're not 2", I stand up and grab my stuff that I laid out the night before. Then Heading to the bathroom. Becca opens the bathroom door and I then lock it. I change into my clothes and curl my blond hair. Then brush my teeth and do the rest of my routine. The other girls have been pounding on the door for about 45 minutes untill we we're done. I unlock the bathroom door and Becca and I walk back to our room. Leaving our Pyjamas in our room. "BREAKFAST IS READY." We walk down stairs and sit down at the table. "Good morning, Miss Roberts" "Good morning to you too, Maya." Miss Roberts is our orphan Mom, she isn't married and doesn't have a boyfriend. She's really young. I'm Maya 13 from Ohio. Becca is 14 from Ohio. Miss Roberts puts the cereal bowls down infront of us and we start digging in. "Don't forget, today is Adoption day!" "We won't!" We eat up and clean up. By now the other girls are eating too. We we're down here first that means we're done first. Becca and I head up to our room. Sunday is always Adoption day so we're not allowed to go to the mall or anywere basically on that day!
++Fast forward 4 hours++
"Thank you for choosing Emma" Miss Roberts says to the couple that just adopted Emma. Like always Becca and I didn't get adopted. I'm pretty happy that Emma is gone. She is really mean and bratty. Her face is always covered in tons of makeup and her pants are really short! Through her t-shirts you can see her bra! Anyway back to the point. "Hhm I thought there would be another couple coming?!" Just as Miss.Roberts says that a Black haired really pretty woman walks in. After her there's a man coming in with a camera in his hand talking to it.
I wonder what he is doing with that camera.
"Hello, I'm Miss.Roberts how can I help you?" "Ah yeah, we we're here to hopefully adopt a child. My name is Roman Atwood and this is my girlfriend Brittney Smith!" "Oh yes you called right? So what are you looking for?" "Yep I did. We we're looking for a Girl between the age 10 to 14" "I'll get all the girls stand in a line, you can talk to each of them and later you can tell me if you found the right girl" The only ones standing in the room we're Becca and I.
"ESTELLE, BELLE, GRETA AND CLARA GET DOWN HERE PLEASE!" "And you Becca and Maya form a line" Becca and I stand side by side as the other girls come down and stand next to us also in a line. "Girls this is Roman and Brittney, they may adopt one of you!" Greta lets out squeal barely to hear. I actually have no idea why. Roman and Brittney walk over to Belle who was first in line. They talk and I can bearly hear what they say. They walk to Clara and talked her. After they talked to Greta and Estelle it was Beccas turn. They talked and talked for what feels like 30 minutes but in reallity it was 10. It was now my turn. "Hello I'm Brittney and this is my Boyfriend Roman!" "Hi, I'm Maya.." "Nice to meet you Maya. Tell us a little about yourself!" "Well I'm Maya 13 and I like to watch netflix and sometimes Youtube, I don't play any sports. But I like to play with rc-trucks and love being outside. I like to put one a little bit of make up because it makes me feel good. I was adopted twice but they always gave me back.
Probably because they couldn't handle my energy."
"Thank you Maya!"
They walk away to Miss.Roberts talking to her. I got bored so I walked up to my Room. Not long after there was a knock at my door. "Come in" in walk Roman and Brittney. "Pack your stuff you are coming with us!" As I mentally scream I pack my stuff.
Walking down stairs Becca walks past crying "Why you?" "Oh Becca, I promise we will skype everyday and you can visit a lot and I can visit you a lot. Plus I probably won't stay there for long, they will send me back after a couple of days" I start to cry more and more by every word I say. Becca just hugs me and we both walk down. "Ah Maya ready to go?" "Sure" I sniff. Roman takes my Suitcase and starts to talk to his Camera. Again I have no idea why! While he is doing that I hug Becca for the last time and then get in the car. Miss Roberts waves as Brittney gets in the drivers seat. Roman closes the trunk and gets in. Brittney starts the engine and we start driving home.
