What Matters

Would it matter if I die,
are there people that would cry,

would the world become a different place,
or would there just be one less face?

-

Will the people be forced to remind,

or will they forget that I was kind?

Maybe they'll remember what I did wrong,

saying that I was so young?

-

Now, the world won't lose a tear,

never understand why this is my fear.

I don't expect a lot of grieving,

after all, it's just another soul leaving.

-

And a hunderd years after I'm gone,

when my body is rotten,

I won't be remembered by anyone,
my whole life will be forgotten.

-

Please, please don't forget me,
remember how I used to be.

Know that I used to live,
that I had a lot of love to give.
