She was starring trough the window waiting after a long day at work.
A glance to the clock and she knew he was avoiding her because he knew wat was waiting for him at home.
She walked to the sofa and poured some red wine in her glass and drank the liquor all at once.
2 hours later at 10.30 pm she heard the front door open and close.
After she heard him put his suitcase in the hall she walked with determination to him.She was a woman on a mission one look at him and her restrained anger reminded her not to cry.
Even though Selina didn't want to cry she tried hard to pushed the tears back.
''Damian I cant do this anymore''
He took of his coat and hung it on the coat rack.
Damian knew what Selena meant with the spoken words but he chose to ignore her an walked to the kitchen.
At the moment he could not handle her presence and he couldn't give her what she wants.
He tried to give her everything she wanted but Selena wanted something that will hurt her in the end.
And that is something he absolutely didn't want to happen to her.
Selena felt like he provoke her with his disregard.
She took a deep breath and speak her mind up.
''I cant compete with a dead woman,Damian.I really tried you know and God even knows how many times I tried.''
All her withheld tears flowed down on her both cheeks after the failed effort to not cry in front of him she broke.
Because she felt that this was her last attempt to make him understand what she felt.
He poured himself a glass of whiskey and heard her out not once did he look at her.
He ran his hand trough his hair and drank his whiskey in one gulp.
''You knew Damian I thought I failed you so many times.
I even hated myself for it but then I realized I didn't fail you!''she paused for a moment and took again deep breaths because she felt pain from the last months again.
She continued and looked at his back.
''I didn't fail you,Damian.
I was being me and you blamed me for being me because I wasn't like her!'' she raised her voice.
''You Damian Hilsein are a coward because after I told you how I felt you only asked me to live with you because you could use me for your loneliness.''
She laid her hand on his shoulder with the hope he will look at her and speak.
But it was no use because Damian was to stubborn
''I will say this for the last time so listen carefully.
I love you Damian and you where my biggest mistake because I really thought I could heal you.
But man what was I wrong I didn't heal you what I did was I broke my heart and let you be a part of the process off it.
You love Alexandra even though she is not here and I really hope you will find the love you once had with her''
She kissed him on the cheeks for the last time and walked to the door but stopped when she heard his voice finally speak.
''Selena remember when you walk out that door now I will never let you in again'' his brown eyes looked deep in her grey eyes.
She walked to him she stroked his cheek with her palm.
''You have never let me in Damian Hilsein'' she whispered.
