Their world

Here I live:

In a bright, dark world

Surrounded by crowds

Yet lonely.

Here I work:

In an intelligent, dim place

Full of inspiring people

Yet hopeless.

Here I am:

Amidst a whirl of happiness

Content; pleasure

Yet grieving.

The world so full

- Yet so empty

Like a hollow nutshell.

Where is the humanity

in us humans?

The civilisation

In our unsophistication?

The love and emotion

In our wondering notions;

The passion and feelings

In our day to day dealings?

Have we forgotten who we are

Or who we were

Simply for what we've become?

Have we lost ourselves

To worldly desires?

Money, power, politics

- Aiming to be higher?

Isn't there anyone

Who lives -

Lives for the sake of:

Living.

Who cares, for the sake of kindness?

Nurtures for the sake of love?

Aids for the sake of helping?

Finds content from that of others?

Refuses the jealousy,

The spite,

The evil,

Takes in the world with a smile...

[I have failed to find anyone...]

Reject the power, reject money

Reject the selfishness; the bitchiness!

Be one with another

Care for each other

For Goodness Sake!

Just be HUMAN!

(Sub-human - be it too hard for you.)

Come out of this slumber;

Enlighten your blindness.

Take in the world - hand in hand

Revive yourself,

Relive this life,

Have another turn.

Because if who I am,

Is not fit to be:

One of you

- In your little dreamy world,

Then let me tell you here -

Make it clear:

I am a person - a human

Happy to be me.

You find me awkward

- But then what does that make you?
