So Let Me Write A Poem

                          So let me write a poem
                          It may be short

                          Or it may be long.
                          It could make sense
                          Or maybe not.
                          It could be great
                          Or could be trash.
                          You might not like it.
                          Maybe no one will.
                          But that wouldn't matter.
                          Because it would be mine.
                          My own creation.
                          My troubled thoughts in print.
                          So let me write this poem 
                          And put my soul at rest.
