Esmeralda's mother and father was poisoned by her aunt Angelica not to be confused with her mother's sister Angela. Esmeralda's Aunt Angelica was the queen of the middle way but during the Pallicide War her castle was destroyed. Now her aunt vows to get revenge on the three sisters that are left. it is Esmeralda's job to take over her new Queendom, keep her citizens at bay, and keep all four Queendoms from being destroyed.
