The breakup

When Grace and Alexander have been going out for 2 whole years, Alexander has to talk to Grace. 

"Hey, Grace. Can I talk to you for a sec?"

"Yea whats up babe?" She looks into Alexander in the most worried face he has ever seen.

"Umm I wanted to tell you that I had a goal in life and ever since I was a little kid I always wanted to umm..." He wanted to tell her the big news.

"What is something wrong" Grace saw the one tear come down off his face. "You can tell me"

"I....wanted...to join the army" He began to stare into her eyes.

"Oh my gosh, that's great!"

"No you don't get it, we....umm....will be apart. We're gonna have to break up"

Grace knew it had to be done. She loved him a lot and she never wanted to let him go. "Okay, umm I'll promise I'll always love you"

"I'm leaving tomorrow morning, I have to pack."
