Abbey woke up from a searing pain in her wrist. "Shit ow fuck oh my god". Her eyes slowly focused on her surroundings and she released that she had been chosen to go under. Abbey sat up trying to figure out where she was. She turned around realizing she only had her bow,twenty arrows,a dagger her father had given her the night before and her armor. She stood up trying to find the other people who had been sent down with her.
Abbey was a nightmare hunter. This meant she was used to being isolated from the rest of the world and wasn't very good at making friends. While growing up Abbey was excluded a lot so she grew thick skin for even the closest of her friends, Including her closest friend Nia. This means Abbey doesn't trust many people.
Abbey slowly started heading north keeping her bow close in case of any danger. Then she saw a familiar face, it was Kaiden! Kaiden was also a hunter (cyclopes hunter) he used to be in the same clan as Abbey until he had to move to the Braxan clan. Abbey and Kaiden weren't very close so they said their hellos and continued north.
Abbey: "So Kaiden"
Kaiden: "So Abbey"
Kaiden: "What's new with you?"
Abbey: "Nothing really just older I guess, How's the Braxan clan?"
Kaiden: "Still as incompetent as ever"
Abbey: "Well this is awkward"
Kaiden: "Yea, How's your dad?"
Abbey: "Can we just stop with the small talk Kaiden?"
Kaiden: "Yeah sure"
Kaiden and Abbey kept north until they heard crinkling in the wither bushes. A short Meder emerged from the bush looking lost.
Kaiden: "Uh hi?"
Med:"Hello..."
Kaiden: "Can we help you?"
Med: "Uhh yes, i just woke up in this place"
Abbey pulls Kaiden aside while the med still dwells on his life
Abbey: "Should we trust him?"
Kaiden: "yes! He's like a lost little puppy who needs help!"
Abbey: "I ship it"
Kaiden: "What?"
Abbey: "Oh nothing"
Kaiden: "So kid, Whats your name?"
Med: "err Stanley"
Kaiden: "Ok Stanley, im Kaiden and that scary witch over there is Abbey"
Abbey: "Oi you buttface"
(Abbey wasn't very good at insults)
Abbey,Kaiden and Stanley headed west in search of more people
While on search for food for the group Abbey ran into an Abbadon. She screamed and started running away unti she tripped over a root falling and twisting her ankle. (cliche right?). She quickly stood up drawing her bow ready to shoot until Kaiden jumped in stabbing the beast as if it were a pin cushion.
*Back at camp*
Abbey was fixing her bow,Kaiden was tending the fire and Stanley was wrapping Abbey's ankle.
Abbey: "y'know I could have done that myself"
Kaiden: " oh sure"
Abbey: "I could have!"
Kaiden: "No you couldn't, you fell and hurt yourself"
Stanley: "You sprained it..."
Abbey: "Oh great!"
Kaiden: "See?"
Abbey: " You don't need you ankles to shoot a bow Kaiden"
As Kaiden and Abbey were arguing over the many different ways to shoot a bow a group of five new people appeared in front of their fire.Abbey focused her hazel eyes on one girl with aburn hair and chestnut eyes. Could that be? No! The girl locked eyes with Abbey . Abbey ran over hugging the girl as hard as she could. Nia shook her head in disbelieve.
Nia: "Abbey?"
Abbey: "Nia?"
Nia: "You're, you're here?"
Abbey: "I missed you so much"
Nia: " I cant believe they chose you too!
After about two hours of getting to know Katie the dragon slayer,obsidian the ogre hunter,Brice the med and Ulissa the wizard everybody became pretty good friends and trusted eachother everbody went to sleep. Except for Abbey and Nia, They talked all night while "Keeping watch" about god knows what. But Abbey was the happiest she had been in two years.
