A few months later Kaecilius was destroyed, Stephen Strange was practicing new spells, "I don't know how to start, I should upgrade my portal skills first" he said. So he did it, he made portals to the most beautiful places in the world: France, Italy, Brazil.
But one, only one, interested him, he saw a dark world, full of a strange goo, "what is this?" He asked, and went through the portal.
Was that a future vision? Was that a new planet? Was that an alternative reality? No.
It was something of our own world, for Stephen's surprise. He felt alone, powerless, even though he still had the power, "what is this place?" He asked, and something whispered "Upside Down".
