It was just another normal weekend. Well, normal for me. My normal weekend is sitting on my bed, with a bag of chips, and my laptop in my lap. My (hair length), (hair colour) hair sat messily on my head. I was still in my pyjamas, which consisted of big, baggy (Colour) pants, and a white t-shirt with my name on the back, and (logo or picture) on the front.
And, I was an Undertale fan. Everything about it was just, awesome! The different character personalities, the old, retro game style... Toby Fox and his crew truly made one hell of a game.
My (skin colour) fingers reached out to my mouse, grasping it, then moving the cursor on my screen to hover over a red, pixelated heart that I knew oh so well.
Before I clicked on the game, the door to my room creaked open, and I turned to see my mom. She was holding a snack plate, with crackers, cheese, and multiple veggies.
"Oh god (y/n). You need to stop eating junk food or you'll rot your teeth." She sighed, then set the plate next to me on my bed. "Mom, it's just a bag of chips." I said, holding up the almost empty bag. She just shook her head. "It's still junk. Oh, and also, we're going out for dinner tonight, so dress nicely, okay?"
"Alright, sure mom." I rolled my eyes, smirking at her. She smirked back, then walked out the door, closing it behind her. I turned back to my laptop and finally clicked on the game. The regular intro came on, and I tapped enter to skip it, because I have seen it hundreds of times.
...
I tapped enter again.
...
And again.
...
I was tapping enter, but the intro wasn't skipping. I assumed it was just a minor little bug in the game, so I shrugged it off and waited till it was done.
When it had finished, the normal Undertale title didn't show up, nor did the regular 'press enter'. My screen turned completely white, and stayed that way for a few minutes. I tapped enter, tried turning the laptop off, but nothing worked. Maybe it was a virus? I really hope not...
Just then, the bottom of the laptop became extremely hot, and I quickly threw it off my lap, only for it to land on the other side of my bed. The Screen started glowing. At first, it was just a white screen, but it was quickly getting brighter and brighter. Soon, it was so bright I had to shield my (eye colour) eyes. I felt myself slip into unconscious.
Soon, it was pitch black.

It took a few minutes before I woke up again. When I did, I was laying on a bed of golden flowers. I looked at them for a while, but soon started freaking out, wondering where I was. My head whipped around, taking in my surroundings. It all looked so familiar.
Wait. The bed of golden flowers... I looked above me to see a giant hole in the ceiling, and around me was various rocks and rock columns. I realized, that this was the beginning of Undertale.
My mind raced as I thought on how I got here. I shook my head, and stood up, crushing some of the flowers in the process. Now that I was there, maybe finishing the game would bring me back home. Maybe... but I'm not quite sure. I started walking to the archway, where I would soon met Flowey.
And there he sat. Planted into the ground, with that fake smile plastered onto his face. "Well howdy!" He said, not loosing the smile. "I'm Flowey! Flowey the flower!" I kept silent, keeping a straight face. His smile faded a little, then he looked at me up and down. "Hmm... you're new to the underground, aren'tcha?" He said. Again, I stayed silent.
"Um, well golly! You must be so confused!"
"Not really, if I'm being honest." I finally said. I really did know what I was doing. I've played the game so many times, and I know all the runs. Flowey looked at me confused. "You... do? Well, uh, you mustn't know about the uh... the 'friendliness pellets'!" His smile returned. Soon enough, me and him entered into a fight, the room turning black. I saw the four options sitting in front of me. Fight, Act, Item, and Mercy. Then, that's when I finally saw my soul.
It was a bright (colour), with small hints of red. It was amazing. Nothing like the pixelated version in the game. "Alright!" Flowey interrupted my thoughts. "See here, these are what we call, 'friendliness pellets'. Go on! Get as many as you can!" The pellets started to move towards me, but I easily dodged. Flowey's smile faded a bit.
"U-uh, perhaps you didn't quite get it. You need to run INTO the pellets!" He launches another arsenal of pellets at me, and I dodged again. By now, Flowey was wearing a frown. "What is this? Are you brain dead. Run. Into. The. Bulle- PELLETS!" And then more pellets instantly came my way. I dodged, and Flowey's face was smiling, soon changing into grinning fangs. "You know what's going on here, don't you."
I replied with a simple smirk. He, however, didn't seem so amused. He surrounded me in a circle of pellets.
"DIE!" He spoke with venom in his voice. The pellets came closer, and closer. I wasn't scared. I knew Toriel would come and save me. Then, I had a thought. What if I wasn't doing the run like in the video games? What if Toriel never comes and saves me? If she doesn't, I'll be dead as a duck.
I looked around frantically, searching for another way out. I saw my health bar, and realized I had 20 hp. If I'm right, and I hope I am, then I could probably get hit by one of those bullets, and still have 1 hp left. I didn't know if it was worth it, but if Toriel doesn't come, it's the best bet I got. I looked at a bullet, then I took in a breath, and ran right at it. I was hit, and just as I suspected, I had 1 hp left. Thank the lord... My breathing was heavy and uneven as Flowey stared at me in disbelief. "What?! HO-" His screaming was cut off by a fire ball heading his way, tearing him from the ground. You knew exactly who it was, and breathed a sigh of relief.
Toriel ran to you, and healed you. "My child, are you alright?" She asked, worry laced in her voice. You nodded, and gave her a smile. "What a terrible creature, torturing such a poor, innocent youth... Please, do not be afraid." She smiled. "I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. And, who may you be?"
"(Y/n). My name is (Y/n)." You said, flashing her another smile.
