(F/n) couldn't believe what Riku had done. Until now, she had always thought that he was a pretty nice person, but now she most definitely doubted it. She didn't know how he had known about it, her crush, but he had suddenly decided that today would be the perfect day to announce it to everyone. Right in front of HIM! Immediately after, she fell flat on her face trying to get away from the small crowd.
Now, (f/n) was simply sitting under a large tree on a hidden corner of the school grounds, her (h/c)(h/l) hair was dishevelled due to her fall as she nervously ran her fingers through the (h/c) tresses in distress.
She had been unable to look at Kohinata after the junior's obnoxious announcement. She was too embarrassed, knowing that her face probably matched the colour of a bright ruby due to Yagami's actions.
The sound of leaves crunching and small branches breaking caught (f/n)'s attention and she blinked, turning to see who was headed her way. When she saw the second year athlete, her face blushed once more and she reached up to fix her hair even if only the slightest bit.
Kohinata's features held a gentle smile as he moved to the other side of the tree, coming to a stop in front of the girl. The (h/c) stared at the ground as a thick silence enveloped them. When the blond suddenly sat on the ground beside her, she blinked and turned to look at him.
"Your uniform will get dirty..." she muttered under her breath.
The boy shrugged, lying back next to her, resting his head upon his arms as he stared up at the leaves that the tree's branches still held.
"Uniforms can be washed, so it doesn't concern me."
"And what does concern you?" (F/n) wondered curiously, gazing sideways at him.
"The fact that Riku revealed your secret today concerns me."
"Oh!" she mouthed, turning her face downwards once again, resting her forehead against her knees. Kohinata suddenly stood up and got in front of her, he gazed down at her form and caught her attention one more time.
"Don't look so down about it, (F/n)! One way or another, I would find it out, besides it makes me happy to know that you feel the same way I do!" he stated before placing a kiss on the top of her head.
After a few seconds he turned away and walked off, leaving the (h/c) sitting there in surprise, feeling idiotic for hiding her secret for so long.
