*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* Ambrosia abruptly woke up from the blaring sound in her ears. She groaned loudly and forced herself out of bed. After she got ready Ambrosia stomped down the stairs for breakfast. Her dad was making the usual, scrambled eggs with chicken. "Thanks Dad" she mumbled tiredly as she slumped down in her chair. "Yooooour welcome!" Ambrosia rolled her eyes and groaned "Not in the mood dad." He laughed as if he had made some sort of joke and she angrily went upstairs to brush her teeth. When it was time to leave for school she grabbed her bag and went out the door. It was about a 10 minute walk to her bus stop, which was annoying because she was the only kid that had to walk this far. She texted her friend Paige while she walked to make it more enjoyable, there conversation was basically just emojis but it was still nice.
