1:56 A.M.

I want to spill out something but I don't know how to begin. Maybe it's because I'm still awake pass my sleeping time that my mind can't function properly. But what can I do? My masochist brain won't let me calm down, even dragging my emotions into the hollow.

I need your help.

Right, before I begin, I would like to introduce myself. I am Hyuga Hinata-and welcome to my story.

Once upon a time, I had a classmate. His name is Uzumaki Naruto. We've been classmates since my very first day in school. There were times when we pick on each other's names for the exchanging of gifts during Christmas parties but other than that, we were just plain classmates. I don't even bother talking to him.

It was only on our fifth grade that I was able to know him more.

We were assigned seats next to each other and because of that, we became friends. I never thought I could have another male friend other than Shino-kun and Kiba-kun.

Naruto-kun and I eventually became great friends, best friends, rather. I would even always tease him about having a crush over Haruno Sakura, a girl he said to be studying at a school next to our city.

All the seats in the room were compressed to each other due to a large number of students per class. But that's just fine because I can easily lean my elbows on his desk and tease him about the girl he likes.

"Naruto-kun..." I smiled at him.

"What is it Hinata-chan?" He looked at me and shyly smiled back when he realized what's happening next.

"Not again." He chuckled.

"Haruno Sa-ku-ra." I leaned on his desk. "Sa-ku-ra."

I don't know why but I like making fun of him about it.

Fifth grade was a lot of fun. We play every after class. Badminton..volleyball..or any other games, together with my other friends.

Once we got home, we communicate through our phones and sometimes on social media too. He lends me his notes when I get sick and can't attend school.

He is indeed a best friend I could always count on.

Later on, some of our classmates teases us together. Maybe they're not just used to seeing a girl and a boy being best friends?

What's wrong being friends with the opposite sex?

I had a wonderful time on my fifth grade. I wish I could still seat next to him on the next school year.

But I knew it's not going to happen. I will be switching class next school year whether I like it or not, to be with the cream of the crop students.

I thought everything would stay as it is forever, but then came 6th grade.

Everything started to change unexpectedly.

And I regret it until this day.

Hello! After over a year of hiatus I'm back with a new story..yet still with a school setting. Lol! Thank you everyone for making my story "I Can Wait Forever" a success! My new story has some similarities with my first story but don't worry because it will be different.

This one will also be shorter but I'm going to give my best so please look forward to it!

Thank you!
