Smash-up: (n) a complete smash, especially a wreck of one or more vehicles, in this case a collision of ice cream flavors
Elsa Edelstein has lived her life as a lie. She embodies the image every girl wants to be and every guy wants to go out with. Yet, she is a slewing mess. No matter what she does or where she goes she is slowly sinking. And it won't be a matter of time before she drowns in the sorrow of her own thoughts. In a way she's like rocky road ice cream, resembling a clean and tidy picture but is a viscous chunky mess in the inside.
Parker Smith is a talking and walking cliché. His role as the quarterback on the football team has secured his place on the top of the food chain. He's a nice little vanilla fellow. In a word his life is perfect. Yet, he finds something missing in life. In a way he's like cherry garica ice cream, leaving one satisfied yet still craving for something more.
In a world where these two flavors never collide, Elsa and Parker find each other. Maybe Elsa is thing Parker is missing. Maybe Parker is the saving grace Elsa craves. This is a smash-up of two unlikely flavors.
