She couldn't see anything.
Her mind was filled with confusion as she woke up in a dark room. The grey concrete walls that surrounded her felt as if they were closing in, and the same concrete that made up the floor sent chills up her sore body.
She was dressed only in a white tank top and a pair of loose shorts. As her eyes adjusted to the dim light, she took in the room and it's contents. A small twin bed was bolted to the floor a couple feet away from her, and the thin mattress was worn and lacked sheets.
She struggled to stand up, but to no avail as she finally noticed the chain attached to her ankle, holding her captive.
The panic set in the second she realized that she wasn't supposed to be there.
Lilly's greatest fear had come true.
And she couldn't help but hope that wherever she was, it was
