Chrissy's POV

I hate the fact that we need to keep moving so often. But the good part that comes along with this package is that I get to visit so many places in the world. I'm 14 years old and already visited all the Seven Wonders Of The World. I'm not very good at making friends, that's what makes me hate moving. I've always dreamt of having a perfect squad. The fact that we move this often definitely never helps. If only we stayed in one place....

Which is happening!!!

My father decided that he is going to travel a lot for his work but my mum and I can stay here forever. My dream can finally come true. Or maybe not. I don't know how to speak Norwegian. How am I supposed to make friends? We always move so last minute, that by the time we do, it's only a few days until school. This year, I'll be going to the 9th grade. I'm gonna be a highschooler in three days. Today is Friday. Then comes Saturday and then Sunday. Obviously. But that makes three days. Three days to unpack. Three days to buy supplies. Three days to make friends.

Oh My God! I completely forgot to introduce myself to you. I'm Chrissy. I've lived ina lot of cities. But I consider Wellington my hometown, since I've lived there the longest. It'sa city in New Zealand. My family consists of three members. My beautiful, hardworking mother, Georgina Fawcett. My brave, strong father, Rick Fawcett. And of course, me, Chrissy Diana Fawcett.

Bergen is a beautiful city. It'r pretty cold out here most of the years, mostly because it's really close to the poles. My house is huge. The other houses we've lived in were so tiny. Two bedrooms is all. This one has at least 6. We can literally have two bedrooms each. Those bedrooms, too, are big enough to fit in all of my previous ones. This one even has a bathroom attached to it. Life is so beautiful sometimes. But then you look at the cons. Like my bedroom is so huge it'll be so messy throughout. Which is obviously something I'' have to work on. The neighborhood is huge, just like the houses.

"Chrissy, can you go down the street and buy me some groceries? We'll all be starving otherwise." my mum calls out. I laugh at how much my mum exaggerates. Sometimes, it's so hard to even figure out whether she means something literally or sarcastically.

"I'll be right there" I call back and rush downstairs. I put on my coat and my boots and hurry out the door. There are so many kids out here. I'm sure I'll be able to find some my age. I'm not entirely sure about whether or not I'll be able to have them as my friends though. I'm so weird. Like, even I can't understand myself. Why am I saying this out of nowhere. Ugh, I'm so random.

What I need is a good first-day-in-Bergen impression on whoever I meet. Which doesn't exactly happen. I'm so in my own world, skipping, that I bump into someone. Really Chrissy? You're off to a great start.

"I'm so sorry, I really didn't mea---" I start off but I get cut off by the girl in front of me. The one i just bumped into.

"No worries. It happens in this place. I'm Starleen Wonders."

"I'm Chrissy Fawcett."

"You new here? Bergen is a beautiful place but awful things do happen here." She says, taking a bite of her apple. "You know what, let's be friends?"

"Uh..sure. I'd love to be" I say smiling. Yay. First day here and I already have a friend.
