Prolog

Author's Note

This fan fiction has idea's of the Sonic Series but with my own twists and extra characters. Instead of Sonic being the main hero, I have added a female heroine who is a princess like Sally Acorn. Only thing is, she is the reason why all the bad things are happing on Moblis, Earth and the spaces beyond. But she is destined to save these places from destruction and despair. Join Kat, Sonic, Tails, The rest of the Freedom Fighters and new characters in this epic story with new twists.

And yes this is a series, and this being the first book. So enjoy it and like it and all that other good stuff :D

Prolog

Katherina Cathers ran outside of the castle. She ran to a grand old oak tree in the garden. Her head looked back and forth before she opened a secret passage that led into the tree. This passage would lead her into the city Terra Agua, the capital of the Unknown nation.

Katherina shut the door behind her and turned on the switch to light the passage. She runs as fast as she can along it to reach the city. Katherina, or Kat by her piers, was the princess of the Unknown. Right now she was only six, but she was smart and well respected way beyond her years.

She was a black cat with gold eyes. But she had violet hair that fell to her back and bangs that covered part of her right eye. Her belly fur was white along with her hands. Her feet were white too, but she wore gold and white shoes that cover the fur up. Most of the boys, even the ones who are at the age to believe in koodies, thought she was the most beautiful girl ever. Her body was thin and nicely shaped, making what the boys say true.

Kat finally reaches the other side of the secret tunnel. Before she could open the door, Foxy opens it for her and ushers her in. Foxy was a bight red fox with lush fur. She had orange slanted eyes. She was as beautiful as Kat, and They were the best of friends.

"So how is our beach problem?" asks Kat.

It's time for a little background. Right now a war was raging between Unknown and Mobiltropilus for before Kat and Foxy were even a twinkle in their mothers eyes. Dr. Robot-nick was the General for the Unknown. He Made sure the battles stayed on the battlefield. But he had a few secrets of his own.

Kat and her 'Gang' of friends started to see something wrong with everybody who went to the beach. So they went to investigate, as curios children do, and found that the general was brain washing people in some sort of machine. When people changed in the changing rooms and went to the bathroom, they were brainwashed into thinking Dr. Robot-nick should be king. They also started following him like ducklings follow their mother.

Kat knew something had to be done. Her father and mother didn't believe her once she told them. So she too matters into her own hands. The Gang got together and planed to rescue people before they went into the machine. They would gather the people they saved and put them into Atlantis, a secret underwater dome city that was made for emergencies.

Despite their efforts, more and more people were being brained washed everyday. In the few weeks that they started their rescue, they only saved about fifty people. And Dr. Robot-nick's robots were catching on to them.

"Not good. Molly over heard one of the robots talk about 'how the mission is almost complete' whatever that means" says Foxy as they walk out of the Clubhouse and into the ally. The streets were dead quiet as they walked out into Main Street.

No one was on the street, even though it was the most busiest time for the little square in the center of the street. Not even the guard bots were out. The girls felt the creepiness of the street and they quickened their pace to the Beach.

When they reached the little Beach house that Kat owned, they found it totally destroyed. A little line of smoke came out of the pile that once was a house.

The girls went and looked over the damage, finding a half brunt note.

Come to Atlantis, it is starting.

They tore the note into little pieces so none of the guards would find it. Once they got off the pile of rubbish and were about to leave, they were meant by two robot guards.

They tried to run but they grabbed them and started to drag them through the streets.

"Let go of us! I'm the princess! My Daddy won't be very happy with you two! Somebody HELP!" screamed Kat as she tried to struggle from their iron grip. They ignored her and kept carrying her and Foxy through the deserted city. No one came to help them.

They brought them to the castle. Robots had replaced the normal breathing guards. Dr. Robot-nick had token over.

The guards drag them to the basement, we're an old fashion dungeon was. They tossed them into one of the cells that surrounded a large circular room. In the center was a machine with a sort of laser pointer on it. It had a glass cage that the pointer pointed. Standing beside it was the Doctor.

In the cells were people, and the one across the girls cell had the Queen, King, and Foxy's parents.

"Mommy! Daddy!" screams Kat. Foxy says the same for her parents.

The General starts laughing. "Hm. How would you guys like to see how my lovely machine works?" he asks to all the people. He gestures to the guards and they take the Queen out of the cell. She struggles some while Kat screams for it to stop.

The guards put her into the machine. The Doctor presses a button and the screaming Queen becomes enveloped in a flash of green light. As soon as the light came it disappeared and a still robot stood were the Queen was a second ago. The robot looked like the Queen. Gasps filled from everywhere and a few people sniffled.

The machine opens and the once Queen steps out and stands by the wall. "Who should be next?" he asks to the prisoners. "How about our troublesome children?" he smiles evilly at Katherina and Foxy.

The guards open the doors, but before they could grab them, Katherina yells, "Freeze!" all of the sudden, everything stops, including time itself. The only things that move were Katherina and Foxy. They ran out of the castle as quickly as possible.

Time didn't resume till they reached the Boulder that lead to the secret stairwell to Atlantis. They ran down the stairwell, to the place they would spend some of lives at.
