I liked the doodles on your paper.
In fact, I liked everything about you.
I asked you on a date.
You were hesitant at first,
"Eunwoo, we hardly know each other besides at school."
"We get along great."
"Eunwoo-"
"I'll pick you up at six."
That night, you opened the door,
Wearing a cute yellow sweater
And a jean skirt.
"You look so cute!"
"I-I don't-"
I remember how nervous I was,
And you were, too.
I tried to hold your hand.
You kept nagging,
"We're in public, Eunwoo."
"We aren't dating, Eunwoo."
"You don't want to be seen holding hands with a girl like me, Eunwoo."
I wanted everyone to see us holding hands.
At the end of the night, I took you home.
You held my hand up to the door,
Where we stood for silent seconds.
"Thank you for this."
"No, thank you."
"I had a lot of fun."
"Me too."
"W-Well..."
You let go of my hand, biting your lip.
"Thank you, again."
Before you stepped inside,
I grabbed your hand again.
I pulled you into my arms,
Holding you tight.
"Eunwoo..."
"I'll see you in school. Sleep well."
