I woke, slowly opening my eyes and pushing my arms out from under the silk covers of my four poster bed. Sighing heavily, i sat up and swung my feet onto the cold, hard ground.
I know that i need to be productive today but i'm honestly just not in the right mood. After years of being stalked by the media and paparazzi I had finally found peace and comfort by staying in my apartment for months on end with few visitors 😪. I had grown to love duvet days but today, I knew, I needed to work
My fans had been so disappointed when I didn't release a new album in fall like I have regularly done for the past ten years and after all they do for me I can't bear to not give back to them. Anyway, everyone who's ever met me knows im addicted to songwriting 😂.
It's like my diary I guess but with metaphors and rhymes with clues to what each song is about.
I walk over to my oak wood bedside table and, picking up my phone, I turn it on. The apple logo appears and a dim light illuminates my face slowly waking me up. I immediately go onto tumblr eager to make a fans day but instead see many posts speculating my whereabouts and what I could possibly be doing.
I spit out the water I had been drinking as I click on a photo I've been tagged in. I laugh and snort at the post, the media are insisting im staying in NYC as men have been seen going in and out of the apartment. Ya know, its totally not like the media are calling me a slut or anything. It wouldn't be the first time either. But in reality it's being redecorated 😂. I've been staying in my Nashville penthouse with Dibbles and Meredith (my cats).
I lock my phone, throw on any old clothes and head downstairs to the music room
