Introduction

I'm so excited to have been commissioned by The Handmaid's Tale, a new Hulu Original Series, premiering April 26. The series follows Offred, a strong and independent woman who is forced into a life of servitude to bare her master's child. To celebrate female empowerment across the globe, Hulu has requested for writers to submit entries inspired by the Handmaid's Tale and I have created a flash fiction piece called Price of Silence. In this story, Zena has to make a choice—but will it be the right one?
