Remember the Lonely Mountain
Taken by the dragon's flame
Lost yet not forgotten
No!
Now we shall return
Now we shall reclaim
Quest to the mountain to reclaim the gold
Fourteen to brave the dangerous path
Fourteen to brave the great worm's wrath
Forever their story shall be told
Gold defended by the beast
Armor like tenfold shields
Teeth like swords he wields
Breath to set ablaze once green fields
Upon intruders he shall feast
Send in the fourteenth one
Dodge in shadow over bone
A specter, visible to none
Retrieve the Arkenstone
Shining in the dark as the sun
In the heart the dragon awakes
Down flows a river of gold
The Lonely Mountain quakes
As in legends of old
So the great gate breaks
Forgotten heirloom, the Black Arrow
Flying true, straight and narrow
The lone Bowman standing tall
Ready to make the dragon fall
Bard lets the Black Arrow fly
Armorless over the heart
One chance to make the dragon die
Impaled with a final start
The beast falls from the sky
The mountain is surrounded
Challenges sounded
The Battle of Five Armies
Met after long journeys
Clash at Erebor
Reinforcements at the door
Alliance of three against two
Victory, hunt and pursue
Remember the fallen
Long live the King
Hear us sing
Long live the King
Hear us sing
Long live the King under the Mountain
