Pearl has never really fit in well with people her age, especially after a horrible ending to her previous relationship with someone her age. When she meets Dallon Weekes by becoming a nanny for his 6 year old daughter, Elizabeth, she doesn't expect to fall in love with him and his precious daughter. And she doesn't expect Dallon to fall for her also.
But there's something lurking around the corner. Their friends think Dallon is too old for Pearl. Things get complicated in Pearl's life suddenly. And Elizabeth's mother isn't as done with her former family as she made everyone believe she was.
