Destiny

Trini's pov
I've never been one to believe in the impossible. But maybe something will change my mind. I also don't believe in love at first sight but maybe that's because I've never been in love before. I've never believed in things for me, because it's me. Until the the four kids I see before me, who have just blown up part of a quarry.

The Asian boy, Zack, sees some things glowing in the rock. So, he takes a pick axe and smashes the rock, leaving 5 glowing coins with different colors, lying on the ground.

The next thing that happens is all a rush. The security for the quarry starts to come towards us and we all run in different directions. Two boys go to a van, the one boy zack just starts running and as I'm running, I look to my side to see Kimberly. She is quickly in front of me and we both see the van coming towards us with the door opened. Before I know it, Kimberly grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to the van. She didn't let go till she was in the van, followed by me. Zack ended up on top of the car and was pulled in a second later.

Then there was the train. We thought we could make it. And we didn't. Then everything was black and now I'm waking up to feeling extremely weird. Weirder than normal.

I find the yellow coin and stare at it. Nothing happens. I get dressed and go down to the quarry to check it out. Soon after Zack comes over. I left and just sat on the rocks above at the top.

I hear voices about an hour later and get up and walk over towards the voices. I look down at them on the ground beneath me. I see Kimberly make a huge jump. The next thing I know, I'm running up the side of a rock with Zack behind me and Kimberly passing Zack.

She chases me up the rocks and we both come to a cliff. For a human, the jump is way too far. But for me, I think I could make it. Hopefully I can make that jump.

Kimberly says that she and the others just want to talk. But then without hesitation, I run and jump over the canyon. I make it. And stand up and brush my pants off. I soon find all of the kids, except billy, on my side. He jumps and makes it. But he slips and falls back. All of us thinking that a boy just died, we hear him.

"Hey you guys gotta check this out!" He says. Zack jumps with no hesitation. Soon the boy named Jason jumps over. Now it's just Kimberly and I.

"Hey. It's hot out. Can I have a sip of your water?" She asks. I reach for my water bottle and hand it to her. "I'm sorry." She says, confusing me.

"For what?" I ask. And with that she grabs on to me and jumps us over the edge and we land in water. Our arms brushed for a minute while we were falling and I felt a little spark and now my arm feels tingly.

We start glowing. I'm yellow. Kimberly is pink. Jason is red. Billy is blue and Zack is black. Billy finds a wall of water beneath us and we tumble down and soon find part of what looks like a spaceship.

"What the hell is this?!" I think, but apparently I said it out loud, causing everyone to turn and looked at me, all with the same expression on their faces. The expression of "I don't fucking know.".

We end up actually finding a spaceship. And was found by a robot called Alpha-5.

"You're the power rangers!!" Alpha-5 states.

We soon reach a room with five glowing platforms. Alpha-5 speaks up again to explain something.

"Two of you are soulmates. Which means, at one point you will receive a lightning bolt of your soulmates color on your wrist. But, it's only two of you.the other three will have there coin colors. But we don't know who the soulmates are." Alpha-5 tells us. Well that won't be me.

We soon are all on platforms that glow and a wall named Zordon telling us to morph. And none of us know how to do that, so Zordon tells us to leave.

Zack has an idea that we all camp out and learn things about one another, thinking maybe that's why we can't morph.

"Not tonight guys." Is all I hear from the girl sitting across the fire from me.

I start talking and hear Zack speak. I don't reply to him I just look at the Fire. I look up to see Kimberly staring at me. I look back at her and we hold the gaze for a while. Then both of us are screaming in pain while holding our wrists.

I pull my hand away from my wrist and see a lightning bolt appearing on my skin. It starts to fill in pink. Pink. Kimberly? I look up at the fire and see the five colors together, but the yellow and pink swirling around each other and not the other three.

Kimberly's pov
After I grabbed Trini and jumped her over the ledge and all of the other stuff I think she explained to you, we all ended up at the camp fire. And when Trini's and my eyes meet, my wrist has a shooting pain. I look down at my wrist to see a lightning bolt forming on my wrist. It starts to fill in yellow. Trini's yellow. Am I one of the soulmates and Trini's the other? I look up at the fire and see the five colors but see the yellow and pink are swirling around each other instead of the others.

I look at the boys and they all have their own color lightning bolt. Jason has red. Billy has blue and Zack has black. I look over at Trini who is looking at the fire but then looks over to me. She shows a weak smile that I return

And then everything went black.
