the thirty prompts:

One: write a chapter in which a character spends Valentine's day alone.

Two: write a chapter in which a female character uses a catcall to grab a male's attention, contradicting standard stereotypes.

Four: write a chapter in which a character makes a late night journey to the store to satisfy an unusual craving and meets someone special (a friend, a love interest, etc.).

Eleven: write a chapter in which a character tries but fails to play it cool after a love interest texts him/her.

Twelve: write a chapter in which a female character purposely burps/swears/farts and/or itches a private part after discussing manners and what is ladylike with someone else.

Thirteen: write a chapter in which a character is caught dancing to a woman empowering song of your choice.

Fourteen: write a chapter in which a female character buys tickets to a sporting game (baseball, basketball, football, etc.) and invites someone else along with her.

Fifteen: write a chapter in which a female character refuses to shave (legs, arms, armpits, etc.) for work/school/etc. in protest and wears dresses/skirts/short sleeve shirts to show off her lovely hair. (WHAT I'M DOING INSTEAD: write a chapter in which a character must strategically hide a pad/tampon on the way to the bathroom)

Sixteen: write a chapter in which a character is caught playing video games during a sick day.

Seventeen: write a chapter in which a character is stuck in front of an insanely attractive person in line whilst buying pads/tampons/lingerie/bras/condoms or any combination thereof.

Eighteen: write a chapter in which a character has a pregnancy scare and celebrates the false alarm with a shopping spree.

Nineteen: write a chapter in which a female character initiates a kiss and/or asks someone out.

Twenty: write a chapter in which a character has a girl's day/night out with friends.

Twenty-one: write a chapter in which a character forgets she is wearing makeup and rubs her face, smearing her mascara/eyeliner/etc. and goes on a date without realizing it.

Twenty-two: write a chapter in which a female character cannot cook to save her life.

Twenty-three: write a chapter in which a character catches the bouquet at a wedding and promptly gives it to someone else.

Twenty-four: your character ends up sobbing for an outlandish reason in front of a friend/family member/love interest due to hormones. what happens?

Twenty-five: write a chapter in which a character gets wet somehow whilst wearing a white shirt and doesn't realize her bra is on display for the world until someone embarrassingly points it out. 

Twenty-six: write a chapter in which a female character insists on picking up the tab during a date or outing with guy friends.

Twenty-seven: your character stands up to her boss for getting payed less than a male employee in the same position as her; she is fired. how does she react?

Twenty-eight: the wind blows a character's dress/skirt up while out with a friend/love interest. what does she do?

Twenty-nine: write a chapter in which your character is almost mugged and knocks out her assailant/pepper sprays them/etc. 

Thirty: write a chapter in which your character realizes that, despite the ups and downs of femininity, it is damn good to be a woman.
