Hi everyone! :)
Well, basically, this short story came along when my wonderful English teacher (No sarcasm, he is a really cool guy) Mr. Hunter, decided to give us the option of either writing an alternate ending to "The Interlopers" or to write our own story. I obviously wrote my own.
It is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's story "The Red Masque of Death", and has a smidge of inspiration from "Phantom of the Opera." (Because of the mask and all the dancing...............SPOILER ALERT!)
Well, just wanted to tell you that. I came up with this whole thing myself, and I hope you all enjoy it!
