Allura's Point Of View
"Hm.. quite cunning, very mischievous, a very devious mind indeed! Despite that, you're kind and caring at heart. You're conflicted with inner problems, but I see great potential in you, so, I'll put you in... Slytherin!"
The crowd went silent as the sorting hat was removed from the girls head and then a light clapping came from the Slytherin table as the new student was escorted over by the house's perfect. A black emery coat was over her, her hood was in place and a short skirt flowed slightly below the middle thigh. A timid smile was plastered on the petite, young girls face as a feeding tube that was running from a small hand decorated backpack into her nose, stood prominent. She meekly pulled down her cap, to hide her lack of hair, and averted her eyes from all those who started. She hopped down from the stage, and made her way to the table with the help of her personal assistant, and took her seat near the walked. The stares burned into her soul and tears welled in her eyes, her heart rate quickened and anxiety overwhelmed her. Looking into the sea of people before her, she spotted a familiar face. White hair, pale skin, and perfectly round eyes; otherwise known as Draco Malfoy. He looked up to meet her eyes with his own, and he beamed with happiness. He looked back at his friends, and said something before jumping up and practically sprinting towards her, she beamed and did the same. Draco stopped, not wanting to hurt her, and let her run into his arms. His big built frame towered over her own, and he enveloped her in a longing hug.
"Allura, I missed you, so freaking much!"
She buried her face in his chest and he carefully pulled back a bit.
"Be careful love, you're going to pull your tube out."
She pouted deeply and hugged him tighter as he ran his fingers through her remaining thin hair. His face stiffened, and he looked at her sadly.
"Take that bloody hat off, you're beautiful, with or without all of your hair... You should hold your head high Allura, you're a warrior, and I want you to know that I for one, will always fight with you.. don't be ashamed because you don't have long thick hair, hell, you're more graceful than girls that do have it."
Draco grabbed her shoulder gently, knowing he would leave bruises if he wasn't careful. His hand went upwards and he gently removed her beanie, her smile never even wavered. Allura frowned, feeling the hurt and looked down towards the floor.
"Draco, come sit with me? They're all staring, and I'm scared..." He frowned but complied. He followed closely behind and grabbed her waist as she sat to help in her weakened state. Her breathing increased, and he bit his lip nervously "What's wrong love?... Are you okay?" Her bottom lip jutted out as she huffed.
"I'm not a baby Draco, I'll be okay sitting down by myself.."
Draco smiled, not wickedly, or mischievously, but genuinely. He pulled the girl close and smoothed her hair down.
"Ugh, get your gay ass off of me! What if I catch-" She gasped dramatically "-the gay?!" Draco howled with laughter, gripping his stomach? "Oh, shut up! You know you love me!" Draco teased. She stood and thought for a second, then nodded her head.
"True, true."
With that they both say quietly, cheering for each new Slytherin as they were sorted. There was an overwhelming amount of new Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs, but oddly enough, not many new faces in the Slytherin house. A total of 7, including herself, who were sorted into the Slytherin house.
"Hello young wizards, I am the headmaster; Albus Dumbledore. I hope we all can have a great year here at Hogwarts! Before we let you leave to eat, I must go over the rules, so please pay attention."
