My name is Anthony Stillwater
Much has changed since I last wrote this
Echo-Five-Actual has fought its last fight
Desert Storm was the last war between massive armies the world may ever see
Peace, horrible peace, has fallen across the land
I am a Special Weapons Soldier. I will not accept being made anything else.
As long as I live, Special Weapons lives within me
I am a dinosaur before 30
My military career is over
I have returned home, to my Father's house, to recover from injuries
With me is my wife, Heather Dawn Stillwater, and our two daughters
My Father has retired from the military with full honors, the Dark Titan of SOCOM receding into the mist of time
I live, in my Father's house, in Rochester, Washington
I am not content, I still feel pain from losing my career, but my wife and children make me happy
I work at a cannery for minimum wage
The VA is denying I ever even served
My injuries, incurred line of duty, were not caused by my military service according to the VA
But my wife, and family, are with me.
But nothing ever remains the same.
