The Void

Time is relative, we all know that.

Yet we measure time with a watch

Well, we need to

Do we need to?

Yes.

We need to

Today, tomorrow

What's the difference?

It all feels the same

Lost in a string of days

One after the other

One after the other

At times,

you don't even know what you're waiting for

But you are

You are waiting

That's why we need time

So that we can keep track

Not feel lost

We can hold on to something

Real and stable

And true

Yes.

I need time

I do

But what am I waiting for?

What am I counting down towards?

How do I enjoy now?

If I enjoy now,

Will I know the feeling of enjoyment tomorrow?

The question is old

The question remains

What is the purpose of living?

I know the answer,

Trust me!

I do!

It's about being happy

And doing good things

That maintains the happiness

But the void

The void never goes

Happiness feels like an illusion

When the void enters

Happiness feels

Like a cloudy daze

That clears up

When the void arrives

Then what is true?

The happiness

Or the void

Maybe

Maybe, there is something

The void clears

Clears the world of fake illusion

Fake happiness

But, if that happiness

That I thought was the truth

Got cleared by void

Can that void be cleared?

The void

Can it be taken away

By something

Maybe that's what I'm waiting for

For the void to be taken away

For something true to replace it

Yes.

That's why I'm waiting

That's why I'm keeping track of time

Okay

Breathe

Keep waiting
