Anyway, I know it's been awhile since I last wrote a new book, so I decided to write a new book, and I feel like you guys are going to love it. So here's the synopsis:
She was the type of girl that most would say is independent. The type of girl, who could make people laugh with her alluring humor. The type of girl that can make you smile even when you're feeling down. Although, most say her smile is the brightest, but in reality, it's always the brightest ones with the most pain inside.
Her name is Melanie Rivers, a young girl just trying to find herself in this big world.
A coming of age story, that deals with the struggles of a teenager, who tries to figure out her life as she juggles with faith, relationships, temptations, and real world problems.

In case those who are wondering, this book is a diverse one. Therefore, if you don't like interracial relationships, then you can exit this story. No one is stopping you. I won't tolerate disrespect to my characters, because of their race and culture. I just won't. I will block you and report you, if needed. There will be parts in this book that will include racism. I am forewarning you now.
Although this book do include romance, it is not the center of the story. I just want to make that clear, before you guys start to read. This book is more so a coming of age story, that is meant to show the struggles of a young black girl, as she tries to figure out her life and the aspects of a black woman in society.
Before I close this note off, I want everyone to know that we all have our own insecurities in life. It's sometimes hard to overcome them, but we do try, because at the end of the day, we do want nothing but the best for ourselves. 💞
So like I said before, I'm going to try something new with this story. Also, don't worry, my goal is to try and avoid all cliches! I feel like cliches tend to ruin the story, because everything is so predictable. Anyways, hopefully, you guys will enjoy. ☺️
