"When i heard about what you did, when I saw my father's face after you killed many of his guys and took away his home, i wanted to kill you." Klaus sighed but Maddie continued. "But I didn't, i stopped and I thought. I weighed about the good i saw in you versus the horrible things I know you've done and i realized if I hurt you, I'd be filled with guilt and regret." His eyes slowly softened at her words.
