Okay so I started off an Of Mice&Men fan fic but then didn't like the story so I kinda deleted it. I tried to write it over and over again and I got the perfect intro and I wanna know if anyone wants to read more. So please can you read the first part and then tell me if I should continue or not? Thanks :')

Here we go..

"My name is Dylan Cherry. I am 23 years old. I guess you could say that I’m doing well for myself considering my past. But that’s another story for another time. I was born in the middle of jack crap nowhere, Ireland on the 27th January. My poor mother died during childbirth so you would think naturally I would go live with my dad, right? Wrong. Turns out that merely weeks before my birth, my father was killed in a bar fight. Typical Irish folk for ya. So then, due to my lack of family members other than my deceased parents, I was shipped off to the nearest Orphanage. And yes, orphanages do still exist. I lived there for a total of 3 months before I was adopted by probably the best people in the entire world. My wonderful fathers, Derek and Destery. I know what you’re probably thinking, ‘wow, typical for a gay couple to name their daughter a boy’s name’ or how about 'aww all their names start with D, because that's what they like' ha ha I get it, my dad's are gay, good one. Don’t worry, I got teased about this my whole life. My life was great with a capital G.

My life wasn’t actually bad, minus the bullying, incessant name-calling and lack of friends, I had a blast.  I lived in Ireland with my two dads all the way up until my fifteenth birthday. Both of my parents had amazing jobs, one was an interior designer (not stereotypical) and the other was a chef, and might I add, the BEST chef in the whole of Ireland. I am serious. People came from all over Ireland to our little restaurant on the corner of the only main street in our village, just to try my dad’s beef casserole. Now let’s get back to my fifteenth birthday... oh yea, my present. Since my dad’s had way too much money to spend on themselves, they said to me that for my fifteenth birthday, they’d take me anywhere in the world. If I wanted to of course, and who would ever turn down that offer!? So naturally I chose to go to Disney Land, no not in Paris, no not in Florida... I wanted to go to the real deal. Disney Land in California. Hell yes. You know the best part? When we was in a restaurant in California, my dad, the chef, complained about some of the food being prepared appallingly, so the head chef challenged my dad to cook it better than him. Of course my dad accepted that challenge and of course he won. That bit was expected, what wasn’t expected was the owner of said restaurant firing his head chef and then offering the position to my dad. He didn’t want to make the decision on his own and asked me and my other dad what we wanted to do. I screamed at him telling him to take the job and my other dad just nodded in agreement. We sold our little restaurant on the corner of the only main street in our little village in Ireland and packed up our things, rented out our cottage for holiday makers and moved to sunny California. So that’s how I moved to San Jose California.

That’s when my life got flipped, turned upside down."
