Bo Griffin's mom tragically died while giving birth to her first child. The only family that remained for her was her father, who cowardly ran from the responsibility of raising a child alone. All her life she had been in and out of abusive foster homes, exhaustingly traveling across the state of Oregon for fourteen, going on fifteen, years. Just before the start of her first year of high school, she is placed in a house of five kids and a single mom in a town called Castle Rock. She didn't know it at the time, but moving to this new area would be her best shot at finally being able to be a regular kid.

Chris Chambers had a life that wasn't so different from Bo's. With a family of alcoholics, the entire town looked down upon him, assuming Chris would turn out to be the same. Despite all of the judgmental accusations about him because of his unfortunate circumstances, Chris was the exact opposite of what people supposed. When walking around with his three best friends, he meets a girl. Although he knew nothing about their similarities at the time, there already seemed to be something different about the girl.
***** Author's Note I decided that I should make them a bit older since it probably extremely weird to write a love story between two 12 year olds. I've been thinking about writing about Chris for a really long time now and I'm finally doing it!!! I'm uploading this really late at night, so the first chapter will most likely be out in the morning or sometime tomorrow.
