You see her walking the halls
You're too distracted by her and bump into the walls
She is the prettiest girl in your high school
Yet she seems so affable and cool
She rarely makes herself look a fool

Every time you pass her by
You feel your spirits lifted high
You get this funny feeling
That it's your heart that she is stealing
Why do I feel this way? You might ask.
Could it just be Cupid performing his task? Or could your heart be in flight
As a result of love at first sight?

You walk along the commons of the school
You see her with her friends, still acting cool
Though she seems to notice you walking
Could she possibly be interested in talking?
She then shoots you a smile
Perhaps it is meant to beguile
Frozen you stand, red and blushing
It's very clear that you are crushing
Entranced, distracted, unaware, you continue to stand their, awkwardly, looking into her eyes of beautiful hue
Of deep, dark sapphire blue

Then, a slew of thoughts linger about in your mind
They seemed to be so misaligned
As you are so distracted by the sight of your crush!
Your heart races faster than the fastest steed
You definitely have fallen for her indeed

"Talk to her, get to know her!" your brain tells you
But when it comes to conversing with girls, you have not a single clue!
So then, what exactly are you supposed to do?
